AURA’s distinction starts in the field and continues in the distilling.
We are hands-on with our farming and our distilling. We grow our lavender, spearmint, and peppermint in fields that have been family-farmed for over seven decades. Less than a mile away, we operate our distillery, delivering pure and complete essential oil.
Ronald Kuenzil grew his first spearmint crop for essential oil in 1964. By 1967, he designed and built his own high-volume distilleries. Top U.S. processors sought AURA’s high-grade essential oils, including Proctor & Gamble, Wrigley’s, and Del Monte, among others.
Ronald’s son Lonnie pursued the use of essential oil on yachts and in homes and businesses. Yachts and buildings utilize an electric-powered diffusion box holding the essential oil. The simple, efficient manner of distribution is by way of dry diffusion through existing forced-air passages and vents. An app controls parameters such as release time and duration. The enjoyment and benefits of dry-diffusion essential oil begins in the field, is captured in a bottle, and is efficiently distributed in the air.
Our sourcing is built on relationships. We don’t utilize brokers, but on our long-running partners who provide only 100% complete oil. When our needs are beyond our own peppermint, spearmint, and lavender fields, we accept only the quality of oil that matches our own!
Our distilling delivers 100% complete oil. Essential oils have claims of “100% pure”, but what we deliver is uncommon. Our essential oils have nothing taken out. This occurs when certain compounds have individual value and are extracted and sold, leaving the remaining oil incomplete. Our oils have nothing taken out, and nothing added in.
The mechanics of distribution are intentionally simple. AURA provides a streamlined reliability and ease for the operation and end user. The electrical diffusion box is an easy install. The aroma travels as a vapor through existing passage and vents. And our app allows you to customize what you want to enjoy— as well as when and where!
